Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech! Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your traditional riad. Spend the afternoon exploring the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, colorful souks, and lively streets of the Red City. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 — Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley → Merzouga
After breakfast, depart Marrakech and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, continue through Ouarzazate, the Rose Valley, and the impressive Todra Gorges before arriving in Merzouga. Ride a camel across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to your luxury desert camp, where you'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and an unforgettable night beneath the stars.
Day 3 — Explore the Sahara Desert
Wake up early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4x4 and continue exploring the Sahara region. Visit a nomadic family, discover the traditional village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music, and enjoy panoramic views of the desert. In the evening, relax in a comfortable traditional desert hotel in Merzouga and enjoy dinner.
Day 4 — Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Cedar Forest → Ifrane → Fes
Travel through the beautiful Ziz Valley, pass Midelt, stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the Barbary macaques, and visit Ifrane, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco.' Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and spend the night in a traditional riad.
Day 5 — Guided Tour of Fes
Discover Morocco's oldest Imperial City with a guided tour of Fes. Visit the Royal Palace, the Blue Gate, Al Quaraouiyine University, the Chouara Tanneries, the vibrant souks, and the ancient Medina before your unforgettable journey comes to an end.
