Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Fes. Travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, visit the alpine town of Ifrane, meet the famous Barbary macaques in the Cedar Forest of Azrou, enjoy panoramic views over the Ziz Valley, and arrive in Merzouga. Ride a camel across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes and spend an unforgettable night in a luxury desert camp with traditional Berber music beneath the stars.
Day 2 — Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, visit the traditional market of Rissani before continuing to the spectacular Todra Gorges. Walk through the impressive canyon before arriving in the beautiful Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 — Dades Valley → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou
Travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the fragrant Rose Valley. Visit Ouarzazate, known as the 'Hollywood of Morocco,' then explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Overnight near Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate.
Day 4 — Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, where your unforgettable private Sahara adventure comes to an end.
